about

The Way I Feel & more is collection of covers I love: Bill Fay, Gordon Lightfoot (JAMES GADSON ON DRUMS), Moby Grape!, and The Four Tops. I’m so happy to share it with y’all. It’s exclusively available on Bandcamp to benefit MusiCares, an organization that my fellow musicians lean on and need now more than ever.

When it comes to raising awareness and money for Musicares I always think of my friend and someone I love recording with the great Gerald Johnson, the bass master from CSNY and the Steve Miller Band...When he had issues with his health as a lifetime session musician, Musicares was there and made it possible for my friend to get the proper treatment he deserves. This is one of the most amazing bassists of our time, long live Musicares, and each download of my EP will help their noble cause in our musical community.

about

Jonathan Wilson Los Angeles, California

Jonathan Wilson was born in the mid-'70s, but his music most clearly recalls an era whose heyday came a few years before he came into the world; the deep but gentle vibe of his songs is an echo of the Laurel Canyon mellow rock scene of the late '60s and early '70s, and it's no surprise that he found a home in the very same section of California years after the fact. ... more
